As a SCADA Engineer you will be a part of a Grid and Control Offshore team responsible for commissioning and maintaining [xxxxx] SCADA solutions and other automated functionalities in our Offshore power plants in compliance with [xxxxx] standards and customer requirements. You will also support our growing business by providing input to the strategy initiatives.

Your daily tasks will include:

• Configure and commission [xxxxx] Power Plant Controller systems according to the site specific requirements
• Configuration and commissioning of [xxxxx] Power Plant Controller
• Taking part in the configuration of complex redundancy concepts for offshore wind farms (both control and interfaces)
• Participation in FAT/SAT and Grid Code tests for offshore projects with demanding customers
• Operational support to our wind farms (service orders, technical support)
• Technical advice to our internal and external stakeholders
• Customer and 3rd party interaction
• Tackling technical documentation

Qualifications:

• Experience as an automation engineer, particularly in the energy industry
• Relevant education within Automation, Electo-technicial, Information Technology or similar background
• Experience with PLC programming and communication protocols (e.g. IEC 61850, IEC101, IEC104, MODBUS, DNP, OPC)
• Industrial electricity and electronics knowledge
• Understanding of computer and industrial networks
• Experience in commissioning and maintenance of server operating systems is a plus
• Valid Driver's License and ability to obtain a passport
