We in IT Operations & Infrastructure is looking for a talented Infrastructure Domain Architect to help us manage and optimize our storage and backup environment and in parallel assist the Infrastructure Services department in managing the On Premise and Cloud Server Infrastructure in SDC.
SDC is currently investing in several different IT Infrastructure related upgrades and projects with the purpose of continuous improvement of operational stability performance combined with cost optimization through consolidations, usage of cloud technologies and decommissioning of legacy components.
In our department we generally offer a great variety of challenges and domain areas relevant for the role includes Storage (Hitachi, EMC), Windows Server 2012/2016, Azure, Firewall administration, Network Administration (Cisco based), IT Security (Antivirus, IDS, IPS, etc.), and Virtualization (VMWare).
As our new talented Domain Architect, you will join a strong team of people which are working according to integrated collaboration principles where Danes, Swedes and Poles collaborate closely to minimize the barriers caused by the distance.
What’s in it for you
You will be given the responsibility for managing and optimize the storage and backup environments used in our IT Infrastructure and operated by our On Premise and Cloud partners. We have an ambition to run optimization initiatives and form new standard services within these areas of technologies, both On Premise and within Cloud Infrastructure. Also, you will be involved in other tasks related to SDCs IT Infrastructure depending on skills and availability. Regarding the IT Infrastructure in general, the role will mainly include design/architectural tasks, since large parts of the SDC infrastructure has been outsourced to third party vendors who act according to SDC specifications and requirements.
After a short onboarding phase, you will become part of the Infrastructure Services Department and thus become involved in the ongoing management of the Storage, Backup and Server environments within the above-mentioned areas together with other Polish, Swedish and Danish colleagues. You will furthermore be working closely with colleagues from other areas of SDC Operations & Infrastructure and in relation to various development projects in SDC and for our customers. Occasional travel may occur.
Depending on your profile and development preferences additional responsibilities may evolve especially within the Cloud area.
Bullet proof version of your Competences
You have a background within IT Operations / IT Infrastructure most likely 5-8 years’ experience. Demonstrate excellent analytical, strong coordination and planning skills and excellent the language Danish and English both verbal and written.

Bullet proof version of your Competences
You have a background within IT Operations / IT Infrastructure most likely 5-8 years’ experience. Demonstrate excellent analytical, strong coordination and planning skills and excellent the language Danish and English both verbal and written.
Furthermore:
- Knowledge of ITIL (foundation certification minimum)
- Strong experience with Storage and Backup systems (Hitachi, EMC, TSM)
- Experience within Windows Server 2012/2016 and virtualization (VMWare)
- Experience with Microsoft Azure
- Experience with Firewall and general Network Administration (Cisco based)
- Experience with IT Security (Antivirus, IDS, IPS, etc.)
We would not mind if you have:
- Relevant certifications within the above must-have areas
- Knowledge other Nordic languages or Polish
- Experience with of Linux
- Knowledge of patch management
- Previous experience within the banking domain
