Your new role
GEA is currently focusing on digitalization projects, transforming their on-premise business towards cloud solutions. Working as part of the IT Security team, you will be contributing to GEA’s continuing maturity in Cloud security and compliance while managing Cloud Security procedures, challenging the status quo, and helping define IT Security in a global international organization.
You can expect to be responsible for the following:
- Providing advice on the implementation of measures to meet IT Security requirements as laid out by information security governance and IT Security guidelines
- Maintaining existing IT security systems in line with the established policies, procedures and guidelines at an expert level
- Designing and implementing new IT Security applications, systems and solutions
- Remaining up to date with the latest trends in IT Security and providing guidance to the Service Owner for Security Services and the Director for IT Security Delivery.
- Actively participating as a Subject Matter Expert on the design, implementation and maintenance of complex security solutions that benefit the organization or improve the security posture of the organization
What you’ll need to succeed
- We expect you will have a solid background within infrastructure and security, as well as professional competences with Cloud technologies, preferably Azure. You should have strong proficiencies across the Microsoft 365 portfolio and experience working with the following technologies, tools or subjects.
- Azure Information Protection
- Data Loss Prevention
- Microsoft Information Protection.
- Azure Security
- Keyvault
- Just in time access (JIT) with PIM
- Rolebase access control (RBAC)
- Privileged Identity Management (PIM)
- Privileged Access Management (PAM)
- Azure Active Directory (Azure AD)
- Local Administrator Password Solution (LAPS)
Furthermore we expect that you will be motivated to obtain a certification in Azure Fundamentals.
To excel in this role, it is important that you have great communicative skills and fluency in English (written and spoken). In addition, being a strong communicator, you will preferably regard yourself as a passionate person who is always willing to help your team.
