Primary tasks and responsibilities

As a Cloud Security Consultant in BEC you will be responsible for the design and implementation of a secure cloud architecture for one of the organizations ambitious cloud projects.

The Cloud Security Consultant should be able to understand the different sets of security requirements, compliance standards and threat landscapes to ensure that they are embedded within the application cloud architecture. You should have a “Can do attitude” enabling business to excel and implement a secure cloud environment that will be the driver for future hosting and development.

You will be working together with both the CUBIA team as well as other teams such as BEC Cloud Centre of Excellence, BEC Risk & Security, and other departments and BEC’s customers.

Your primary tasks and responsibilities will include:

• Drive the development of a secure cloud architecture for the CUBIA product
• In collaboration with BEC Managed Cloud Service Provider create secure design patterns and libraries for cloud applications such as: data protection, key management, authentication, and authorization
• Design technical solution, which include creating prototypes and proofs of concept while maintaining security mindset
• Work closely with Application Developers and Infrastructure Architects to ensure that secure by design best practices are followed
• Serve as the SME on Cloud Security for the CUBIA team and later as an extension to the CISO office to the wider parts of the organization
• Ensure that BEC’s Managed Cloud Service Provider is delivering according the BEC IT Security requirements and standards such as PCI-DSS, ISO27001, NIST SP 800-53
• Translate security and technical requirements into business requirements, and communicate security risks to different audiences ranging from business leaders to engineers
• Work in close collaboration with Enterprise Architecture and Cyber Security to drive the overall BEC Cloud initiative to provide a secure service for our customers
• Review and design secure Cloud architectures in accordance to BEC IT Security Requirements and business related purposes.
• Participate in project teams and drive the overall Cloud Security Architecture with the help of other project stakeholders

Furthermore, we would like you to have:

• A bachelor or a master’s degree or similar education in relevant area
• Experience with cyber and or ITsecurity and architecture
• Experience with different types of operating systems, cloud computing, firewalls, etc.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure and other Cloud technologies
• Fluency in English, written and spoken
• Knowledge of relevant security related standards and certifications, e.g. ISO27000, NIST, PCI-DSS
• Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Security Technologies, TOGAF, CCSP, CISSP
• Experience in designing and implementing security architectures utilizing Azure services such as Sentinel, MCAS, Azure Firewall, Azure Backup etc.

With colleagues in teams distributed in Denmark and Poland, you must master English at a high level both in writing and orally.
