About this opportunity

Welcome to Group Compliance and the Nordea Compliance Risk Governance team. We are a central service team within Group Compliance, supporting our colleagues with qualified regulatory analysis and expertise. We maintain Nordea’s global Compliance Risk Register and compliance risk identification processes, and create value by combining extensive regulatory knowledge with compliance risk management expertise.

We are a virtual team with 5 colleagues located in the Nordics and Poland. Our team is expanding and we are now recruiting another 3 Compliance Officers to join our team.

We have widespread contact with stakeholders across Group Compliance where we cover and combine local presence and stakeholder engagement with extensive cooperation via digital channels.

What you’ll be doing:

Our team is responsible for Nordea’s Compliance Risk Register which serves as a fundamental part of Nordea’s Compliance Risk Management Framework. As a part of the team, you will be responsible for updating the Risk Register and support Group Compliance in the Regulatory Change Management process. You will stay abreast of legislative and regulatory developments that might have an impact on the Compliance Risk area.

As the Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for providing advice to stakeholders throughout Group Compliance on regulatory areas relating to financial regulation and compliance risk identification, registration and management. You will do this directly or by contributing to team efforts.

You will develop and maintain strong collaborative relationships with stakeholders, providing appropriate challenge when required, through delivery of pragmatic, timely advice on compliance risks and issues. Ad-hoc participation in projects, where you sometimes also will be expected to take the lead.
