Do you possess strong collaborative skills, a solid grasp of accounting principles, as well as an interest and experience in internal controls? If so, we present a unique opportunity for a central role within Fritz Hansen's Finance Team.
Reporting to the Group Finance Director, you will become part of a team consisting of 9 skilled accountants and controllers. The Finance Team holds global responsibility for accounting, payroll, financial reporting, performance management, and compliance.
As a Financial Controller, you will have a wide range of interactions, serving as the go-to person for colleagues within and outside of the Finance department. Alongside the other controllers in the Finance team, you will be accountable for accurate reporting for the group, which includes monitoring deviations and conducting internal controls.

As a Financial Controller, you will have a wide range of interactions, serving as the go-to person for colleagues within and outside of the Finance department. Alongside the other controllers in the Finance team, you will be accountable for accurate reporting for the group, which includes monitoring deviations and conducting internal controls.
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Participate in the monthly closing process, including preparation and/or verification of various reconciliations.
- Engage in the monthly group reporting, including follow-up on deviations/KPIs.
- Take responsibility for group Capex, both system-wise and in reporting.
- Contribute to the annual financial reporting for the group, including subsidiaries, which involves liaising with auditors and other partners.
- Act as the point of contact for the accounting team on compliance matters, particularly within Danish and international VAT.
- Contribute to the development of the Controlling Framework, including executing internal controls.
- Develop and maintain procedural documentation.
- Tackle various ad-hoc tasks for the Group Finance Director.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
- You possess relevant practical as well as theoretical background (e.g., HD®, cand.merc.aud or equivalent).
- Have experience with and interest in ERP systems (Fritz Hansen uses Microsoft D365).
- Have experience with financial reporting and internal controls.
- Are a team player who thrives both independently and in groups.
- Enjoy initiating tasks from scratch and suggesting improvements.
- Thrive in a mix of recurring tasks and ad-hoc assignments.
- Can think in terms of processes and the need for internal controls.
- Possess a proficient command of the Danish language required to communicate effectively with Danish authorities.
