You will be working in a team consisting of 6 dedicated employees, two of whom are located in Ireland. The members of the team are all specialists within their areas. The team works in a flexible, co-operative and fluid manner with tasks and goals being shared and collaboration being key. While the primary focus for this role is corporate tax compliance and accounting, you will play an important role in the broader activity in the Global Tax department and enjoy exposure to interesting projects..
You will be responsible for the following:
Depending on the task at hand you will work closely together with tax colleagues and colleagues from the business. You will be a trusted advisor to the business and will be reporting to the Head of Global Tax.
We are looking for a Tax Compliance Manager who enjoys working with external and internal stakeholders in a solution oriented way. The ideal candidate has the following skills:
You have a relevant academic degree in law, finance or accounting combined with minimum 5 years of working experience within the tax area.

Responsibility & Contribution
You will be responsible for the following:
- Gathering of appropriate corporate tax package information, including producing corporate tax returns and tax reporting notes for annual report
- Ensure compliance with corporate tax legislation in all relevant jurisdictions with support from external tax advisors
- Review and manage the outsourced corporate income tax compliance activities to ensure accurate and timely filed tax returns
- Tracking of the status of compliance milestones
- Provide corporate tax compliance insight
- Involvement in cross-departmental projects as a contributor from the Global Tax department
- Drive Global Tax department projects
- Manage tax correspondence, audits, enquiries with tax authorities
- Process improvement, proactively streamlining procedures and reporting
- Assisting with compliance in respect to withholding tax obligations
- Driving efficiencies through technology and partnering between the Global Tax and Global Accounting team.

Qualifications
We are looking for a Tax Compliance Manager who enjoys working with external and internal stakeholders in a solution oriented way. The ideal candidate has the following skills:
- Strong understanding of tax accounting and reporting (IFRS). As Corporate Tax Compliance Manager, you must have good tax accounting skills and secure that tax is correctly booked and presented in our financial reports.
- In depth knowledge of Danish Tax Rules
- You can challenge our existing processes and optimize them further. LEO Pharma A/S is embarking on a digital journey, why the ideal candidate will also have an interest for the various technical solutions.
- A keen interest in understanding the business and business flows
- Structured and analytical
- Strong communication skills (English and Danish)
- Experienced user of Excel
- Flexible personal and working style
- Flair for and interest in navigating through systems, e.g. SAP which is our ERP system
- Has a flair for- or are also interested in working within VAT controlling (not a requirement)
