Secure tax compliance

You will be part of a the Commercial & Operational Finance EMEA & Group Functions department. This is a unique opportunity for the right person to secure compliance within global tax compliance projects and processes. You will have a strong interaction with colleagues globally, and you will be working closely with colleagues in Finance in all our jurisdictions, external advisors and tax authorities.

You will be based in the HQ of Nilfisk in Brøndby (Greater Copenhagen), you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Gathering of relevant corporate tax information, including producing corporate tax returns and tax reporting notes for annual report.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate tax legislation in all relevant jurisdictions with support from external tax advisors.
  • Review and manage the outsourced corporate income tax compliance activities to ensure accurate and timely filed tax returns for our Nordic entities.
  • Involvement in cross-departmental projects as a contributor from the Global Tax department.
  • Manage tax correspondence, audits, enquiries with tax authorities.
  • Ensure compliance with transfer pricing legislation in all relevant jurisdictions with support from external tax advisors.

Tax Manager who is not afraid to take on responsibility

The ideal candidate has the following skills;

  • You hold a relevant educational background within finance and/or accounting, combined with minimum 5 years of working experience within the tax area preferably from a position within a bigger organization.
  • You are fluent in English as this is our corporate language and the majority of the people you will engage with will be speaking English
  • In depth knowledge of Danish Tax Rules.
  • Structured, analytical and independent.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • You enjoy engaging with many colleagues in different positions and different backgrounds to get the right solutions.
