Job Description

Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for delivering economic and financial analysis for specific projects or work streams. Your aim is to be a strategic partner in developing the value of the TEPDK portfolio.
These areas of responsibilities will include tasks such as:
Long Term Plan: Support the facilitation of the LTP process within the affiliate
PRIME & Future Cash Flows (T4-T9): Provide support to Reserves Transverse Group in calculation of Economic limit dates under SEC conditions
Decision support: Be a partner to the business in project maturation and decision support
Communication & Cooperation

As an economist in the Economics team, you will be able to shape and develop a central role with great influence on the realization of most of our economic studies, including recurring exercises (LTP, PRIME). This is with the possibility to continuously learn and develop your competencies in providing high quality economic analysis to our stakeholders. You will get to use your knowledge and experience applying a range of techniques when you are in close and regular contact with numerous stakeholders throughout the organization – e.g. local leadership, technical teams, Finance and Strategy, JV management and Commercial.

Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for delivering economic and financial analysis for specific projects or work streams. Your aim is to be a strategic partner in developing the value of the TEPDK portfolio.
These areas of responsibilities will include tasks such as:
Long Term Plan: Support the facilitation of the LTP process within the affiliate
- Consolidate inputs using relevant business planning tools as input to the Total Economic Reference model
- Prepare some of the affiliate’s LTP deliverables (economic and financial) within deadlines
- Prepare and present the economic and financial results to HQ (Evafil to SCR/ECO)
PRIME & Future Cash Flows (T4-T9): Provide support to Reserves Transverse Group in calculation of Economic limit dates under SEC conditions
- Accounting & Finance studies: Impairments, Future Cash Flows /T6-T9), support to BU and PDC
Decision support: Be a partner to the business in project maturation and decision support
- Identify and assess both profitability levers and risks associated with our assets
- Provide reliable economic and financial results within deadlines
- Provide open book economics to support joint venture decision-making
Communication & Cooperation
- Share, explain and educate on economic practice and results
Excellence and Innovation
- Strengthen the robustness of economic results by utilizing appropriate verification and assurance processes
- Innovate, standardize and improve models and tools to enable focus on value-adding activities
- Develop and recommend potential changes and maintain TEPDK economic models – and adapt models to reflect legislative or contractual changes

- You have a degree in finance, economics, engineering or business
- You have experience (0-5 years) in oil & gas project economic analysis and modelling
- You have a high level of computer literacy – Excel/Visual Basic
- You are fluent in English
