JOE & THE JUICE is much more than juice, coffee & sandwiches. Over the last three years the company has grown significantly. JOE & THE JUICE has become one of the fastest growing digital retail business in the world. A core element of our business is the store base with 300 stores across 16 markets and expected to grow significantly over the next coming years.
With a heavy expansion strategy your role as a cost controller is key to support a successful expansion. You will get the responsibility for budgeting/forecasting, analyzing, and controlling of capacity costs including rent on all our 300 leases, and growing. You will have a key role in ensuring the future success of the JOE & THE JUICE expansion. But it is more than just controlling and budgeting. We expect you to engage with our regional directors directly, and management. In JOE & THE JUICE reporting is a requirement. The ability to engage and inspire your colleagues with insights is an art that you also must handle.
You will become part of the Group Finance team in the Head Office in Copenhagen, Denmark. You will be reporting to the Finance Director and work closely together with management across the various countries. And the Retail team who is responsible for signing and maintaining the leases.
Your role will be key in contributing to the continued success of JOE & THE JUICE.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Setting up processes for budgeting, forecasting, and controlling of capacity costs (Lease costs, marketing costs, OH costs, and IT capex)
- Follow up on budgets
- Support management to avoid budget overruns
- Manage cost on the 300 leases and growing
- Act as a business partner to local country management (5 regional directors)
- Work closely with the finance team to ensure state of the art monthly closing procedures
WHAT WE PREFER FROM YOU
- You are an experienced cost controller already
- Experience from controlling of leases/insights in lease contracts is appreciated
- Have the desire to build processes and create systems, supporting cost controlling and budgets
- You are more than just a controller, you also have the desire to help, support and develop the organization through insights
- Strong excel skills
- Accounting background is not required but if you have experience with Leasehold accounting under IFRS it is appreciated.
- Detail oriented and structured
