We offer a super exciting role where you will be involved in the group’s financial communication to shareholders and is involved in forming external perceptions of our company among institutional investors and analysts.
Key responsibilities
You will participate in creation, development, and review of investor-facing communications materials, including corporate announcements, investor presentations, press releases, conference call scripts, and Q&As.
Other key responsibilities:
- Partner with numerous functions in the company, including corporate communications, commercial, finance and legal to source data and information for the above external materials.
- Work together with IR team members to enable accurate and optimal creation, evolution and delivery of key messages, and to ensure that investor communications are aligned across all internal external audiences.
- Assist in the maintenance and improvement of IR CRM system including logging meetings, feedback and producing IR KPI reports based on this information
- Over time, develop and promote relationships with buy-side investors and sell side analysts and gain experience communicating company story to that audience
- Monitor industry and competitor developments, especially investor perception thereof, alert management and prepare proactive and reactive plans as needed.
- Assist in the collation and distribution of investment banking research on Maersk and peers.
- Monitor investor relations best-practice developments and enable implementation.
- Provide accurate, consistent and timely responses to all external inquiries from investors, analysts
- Gain facility with IR tools such as S&P Capital IQ and Bloomberg
- Assist in monitoring and upkeep of IR website.
Who we are looking for
The ideal candidate will have a relevant degree – preferably at Master level, combined with 2-4 years of relevant work experience, in public company investor relations.
You have excellent communications and presentation skills, both written and verbal, including strong ability to distill data sets and to craft strategic narratives.
You have the ability to navigate and demonstrate success in a fast paced, dynamic work environment.
You have:
- Ability to work in highly ambiguous environment with independence, and capacity to manage ever-changing priorities
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and prioritize workload
- Desire and aptitude for learning new concepts quickly
- Ability to manage details independently, while exercising good judgment in keeping team members adequately informed.
