At Lyreco the pricing team is at the center of the business with significant influence among sales, marketing, product management and others. There is a major focus on optimizing our pricing- and therefore revenue and profit – across 10.000+ products in the Danish market.
We are looking for a skilled, data-driven analyst to source and gather insights that will be used to drive direction. At the same time, we need someone to help optimize and run our biannual pricing processes. You will be heavily involved in assessing business performance, verifying hypotheses, and generating insights.

"In general, the job entails a series of analyses ranging from high level strategic initiatives through to operational activities. Regardless of the task, you will often find yourself presenting your findings/ recommendations to all levels of the organization, including top management, demonstrating how you and the pricing team add value to the organization. In addition, you will be evaluating the effectiveness of various initiatives as well as leveraging data in predictive and prescriptive analyses" says Dave Beveridge, Pricing Manager.

You are…
…a data-driven, analytical person with a relevant academic background such as a cand.merc or HD. You also have at least two years’ experience in a business analyst or similar role, with demonstrated results and business acumen. You are a super user of Microsoft Excel and proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint. You also have solid experience with Business Intelligence tools (ideally PowerBI) and ERP systems (ideally SAP).

In brief, here are the main components our next Pricing Analyst will be focused on:
- Support the development of new pricing models, strategies and plans
- Perform various profitability/effectiveness analyses in conjunction with pricing
- Test hypotheses with respect to impact of pricing initiatives (e.g., campaigns, price changes)
- Prepare and maintain Excel-based templates used in conjunction with pricing operations
- Quality control of operational deliverables
- Track competitive prices and recommend initiatives/actions where needed
- Leverage sales and cost data to generate commercial insights for multiple stakeholders
- Identifying and recommending areas for improvement (Lean Leadership).
You are…

- Comfortable with presenting your findings and insights to diverse audiences
- Naturally curious- take initiative versus waiting for direction
- Self-starter- ask for help if needed, otherwise get on with the task
- Multi-tasker- able to handle multiple projects/deliverables at the same time
- Proficient (able to present findings) in Danish and English, ideally fluent in both
- Innovative mindset- not afraid to challenge established processes/norms.
