Tax Manager – Group Tax Lead

As Tax Manager at Bang & Olufsen, and with direct report to Director, Financial Excellence & Tax, your mission is to bring your experience and curiosity into the team, take ownership of all direct tax-related matters and help monitor and streamline the internal processes with the mandate to make changes and improvements and help ensure high quality that meets the expectations of the stakeholders.
Your main tasks are:

You will be joining the Financial Excellence team consisting of ten competent colleagues striving to do the very best to ensure smooth operations, high quality in their work and meeting deadlines. The biggest value is team spirit, believing that the best results come from a fruitful collaboration. You will work closely together with your other colleagues within the Finance community and the rest of the organisation in achieving goals. In Bang & Olufsen the focus is to create a workplace and a social climate that fosters psychological safety.
You have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience from an auditing/consulting company or from a large international company, where you have demonstrated interest and knowledge within Taxation, Accounting, Auditing, or similar. This combined with a relevant education. Experience with SAP further qualifies you as a candidate.
As a Tax Manager, you get a unique opportunity to become part of a global organisation and be instrumental in developing the group’s focus on transparency and compliance within the tax area.
Domicile: You will be based either at the office in Struer or Lyngby. If located in Lyngby, frequent visits to Struer are also expected, approximately 20-40 days a year.

- Take ownership of and manage all direct tax compliance and audit matters globally
- Take a leading role in managing the company’s transfer pricing policy, ensuring that appropriate documentation is in place, and negotiating with tax authorities where necessary
- Prepare and assist with the monthly, quarterly, and yearly tax calculations for group reporting
- Ensure preparation and submission of tax returns along with the global compliance partners
- Develop the internal controls in the tax area and ensure ongoing monitoring and improvements
- Drive continuous improvements in the tax area, working collaboratively with the Tax team and Finance colleagues to streamline tax processes and take advantage of automation opportunities
- Proactively help improve the relationship with internal and external stakeholders
- Support the Financial Excellence team with your expertise and competencies
