LEO Pharma’s finance department is on a transformation journey to support the ambitions growth targets of LEO Pharma, increase efficiency and quality of finance processes and implement the new SAP 4/HANA platform across affiliates. The Finance Hubs in LEO Pharma are a strong financial service provider to our internal and external stakeholders and deliver timely, accurate and compliant financial data at all times.
As Senior Finance Manager in the Finance Hubs you will be orchestrating solid and high-quality period-end close processes according to Group time tables, full control of all financials related to PnL, balance sheet as well as correct accounting treatment of special cases, end to end controlling for completeness, valuations, high quality and sanity checks and samples within materiality levels, as well as for implementing and ensuring LEO Group compliance measures including adequate risks and controls across affiliates in own area of responsibility.
As Senior Finance Manager in the Finance Hubs, you are also responsible for managing the controlling team in driving finance process optimization in collaboration with relevant finance colleagues to simplify, automate and professionalize ways of working, utilization of ERP systems and implementation of Group process framework, strong SME participation in and subproject management as needed in corporate and Global Finance strategic initiatives e.g. process optimization, integration of acquisitions, further outsourcing and offshoring opportunities.
You are responsible for leading and motivating talent, people development and cultural transformation in team and together with Finance Hub leadership anticipating LEO’s future needs and building right capabilities in team. Limited travel activity within Europe is expected.

Period-end close, great controlling & optimization projects
As Senior Finance Manager in the Finance Hubs you will be orchestrating solid and high-quality period-end close processes according to Group time tables, full control of all financials related to PnL, balance sheet as well as correct accounting treatment of special cases, end to end controlling for completeness, valuations, high quality and sanity checks and samples within materiality levels, as well as for implementing and ensuring LEO Group compliance measures including adequate risks and controls across affiliates in own area of responsibility.

Qualifications
We imagine that you have:
- Solid and documented accounting and leadership skills, both in terms of people and process management, finance process optimization, change management and strategic management
- A finance degree, e.g. cand.merc.aud or other relevant master studies and several years of accounting and financial controlling experience from a large international company, top tier audit and/or consultancy house.
- Several years of experience and proven track record as responsible for planning, communicating and executing efficient yearend close, audit and reporting processes as well as accounting quality enhancements and process simplifications in large, international environments.
- Experience as subject matter expert within IFRS and SAP.
- 8+ years of managerial experience heading up an accounting department, group reporting team or similar. Experience in finance function performance management, motivating and developing people to meet both their career goals and the organization’s goals, building strong-identity teams that apply diverse skills and perspectives to achieve continuous improvements and common goals.
- A leadership style demanding on proactivity and development while ensuring a pleasant an informal working environment.
- Strong communication skills, structured & reliable, analytical and business oriented, building partnerships and working collaboratively across to meet shared objectives. Responsible and always taking a holistic approach for the greater good of LEO Pharma.
