Your new company
Schindler was founded in 1874 in Switzerland by engineer Robert Schindler and is still a privately-owned company, now also listed on the Swiss stock exchange.
Schindler is today represented worldwide with over 65.000 employees. The Danish subsidiary Schindler Elevatorer A/S is one of the four leading providers of products and services in the elevator and escalator (E&E) industry and has been in the Danish market since in 1986.
Your new role
The main tasks of the new CFO are to lead and develop finance processes including budgeting and forecasting, financial planning, management reporting and analysis, close monitoring of business activities, general procurement, compliance and business support of Schindler Elevatorer A/S. The person is expected to take a very hands-on role, especially in financial controlling with accurate and timely financial reporting based on Schindler Group standards and local business needs. In the CFO capacity, the person will also be responsible for developing and leading the strategic procurement initiatives by ensuring strong execution power upon management team decisions.
The company aims to significantly increase its market share with rapid growth during the next years and it is expected that the new CFO brings strong contribution to the decision making and overall business development of the company and acts as a right hand to the Managing Director. The CFO is therefore also expected to have an entrepreneurial hands-on mindset and strong leadership traits.
You will be part of the local management team and report to the Managing Director of Denmark and enjoy close cooperation with top-tier finance professionals in the Nordics.
What you´ll need to succeed
The ideal candidate for the position holds an academic degree (MSc. Econ.).
You have experience in a senior finance role, preferably in a dynamic, high standard environment.
You have a good understanding of all finance related issues, the role of finance function as a business partner and you are capable to quickly develop an understanding of the business
You also have strong knowledge of local business environment (laws, rules, regulations, union cooperation), change management, finance applications, IT-systems and Office software.
You have a strong commercial orientation with focus on improving and developing the operational performance of the business.
Excellent knowledge and experience in SAP.
You are fluent in Danish and English (please notice that applications with insufficient language proficiency will not be considered).
