Everfuel has the vision and plans ready and the projects are continuously rolling into the order book, so that is why a number of new positions are being created – are you the next Everfueller?
Everfuel is the new fuel company in Europe – providing green hydrogen for larger vehicle fleets like buses, trucks and taxies. Everfuel provides the missing link between renewable energy and green transportation as a partner, owner and operator of PtX plants, hydrogen distribution and hydrogen fueling stations.
About the position
As Finance Director, it will be your responsibility to develop and operate the finance and accounting function. You become the first employee in the department and therefore you have the opportunity to put your mark on things right from the start. You think big and build the function with tools and processes that are prepared for growth and international business. But you also go humbly to the task, and are ready to work with the entire bookkeeping function, from ordinary bookkeeping to account planning and payroll management (until you find a smarter way to solve it). You will find the way to create an effective bookkeeping function through the utilization of IT and building strong processes. For a start, there is only yourself to do the tasks.
Your work day will of course be very changeable and you move quickly between the operational and the strategic. As the company develops, the department is expected to grow and your own focus area will naturally be predominantly tactical and strategic.
Your tasks and project responsibilities will for a start include:
- Develop Dynamics solution
- Secure financing for projects
- Contact to legal advisors
- Budgeting
- Administration responsibility
- App payment integration with payment system
- Responsible for insurance
You will be part of the management team and you refer to the company's CEO, Jacob Krogsgaard. The company currently consists of the 5 founding Everfuellers. Three new hires will be completed at the beginning of 2020 and by the end of 2020, the organization is expected to have grown to 15-20 employees. The team's first major project is the construction of a hydrogen plant in Fredericia, which will have a capacity of 20 MW with the possibility of expanding up to 1GW, but already Everfuel has taken over a couple of hydrogen fueling stations in Copenhagen.
About you
You have solid experience with all the classic tasks in finance and accounting as well as with management and business development. You can document experience in building strong processes and have a solid insight into the use of IT in the financial field. It is an advantage if your experience is derived from investment companies or similar, where you have gained experience with the project economics and preferably legal aspects of, for example, the establishment of solar cells or other process/energy plants. You are, of course, experienced in contact with the bank, accountant, lawyer and insurance company etc.

You contribute to creating a positive community where ambition and seriousness are followed up with good collegiality and collaboration. You must be ready to make decisions and create momentum. You are not afraid to grasp the details and you get your tasks completed. The customer is always first - and you live up to this.
You are strong at communication and your Danish and English are at the negotiating level both verbal and written. If you also know other languages, this is an advantage. Everfuel uses Dynamics 365 as an ERP system, which is why experience with Dynamics is an advantage.
