Finance Manager

Actona Group is looking for a passionate Finance Manager to lead our finance team and be a frontrunner in the department. You will drive digital processes in an ambitious organisation with room for development and focus on being a leading business partner.

The position

In your role as Finance Manager, you drive optimisation and digitalisation of work processes. Actona Group focus greatly on digitalisation, which is why we imagine you have experience, natural interest and curiosity in driving change through automation and digitalisation.

As Finance Manager, you will also take on a central role in leading the finance department, and you will be responsible for the areas of finance, accounts receivables and payables. Your hands-on involvement with monthly and annual accounts will pave the way for close co-operation with the controlling department.

You will report to the VP of Group Finance.

Your role will also include the following responsibilities:

• Professional and personnel manager for six experienced finance employees.
• Responsibility for finance, accounts receivables payables etc.
• Accounts receivable management in an international export company with sales to more than 90 markets.
• Liquidity management and payments.
• Optimising and automating processes while maintaining a digital focus.
• Monthly and annual accounts.
• Co-operation with the controlling department regarding accounts, budget preparation and other management reporting.
• VAT, direct and indirect tax, insurance etc.
• Responsible for projects on both Group and local levels.
• Sparring partner for and support management, and department heads in Denmark and internationally.
• Analytics, calculations, and ad hoc tasks.
• Co-operation with and reporting to group treasury and tax functions in our parent company.

Who are you?

We imagine you have a relevant education on HD-R, cand. merc. or similar level with experience from a position as controller, chief accountant, or finance manager from a bigger company or possibly auditor. You have a solid experience in accounting and a good business understanding. You may have management experience, or you have an ambition of managing and developing people.

We expect you to be open to development and to have a genuine interest in people and coaching, along with a natural curiosity for digital advancements and optimisations. You have a digital mindset and a good understanding of digital solutions, e.g., within ERP and BI systems. To succeed in this role, we expect you to be devoted, ambitious and solution-oriented.

Teamwork is fundamental to our way of working at Actona Group and in your role as Finance Manager, you are comfortable working both independently and in teams.
