At Nøie we are finalising our Series A funding round and are heading for an ambitious growth journey from a local startup to a market-leading international scaleup and to succeed on this journey we need an experienced international scaleup CFO.
Take part in scaling the world’s best skincare products through customisation
As CFO you’ll be a key member of our management team. With direct reference to our CEO & Co-Founder, you’ll collaborate to set the overall financial strategy for Nøie and have the responsibility for effective daily financial and risk management.
You’re offered the opportunity to play a key role on an extremely ambitious growth journey together with a dedicated A-level team of highly skilled colleagues. Nøie is based at the co-working space Matrikel1 in the centre of Copenhagen, Denmark, and will soon move to a larger, independent workspace in the centre of Copenhagen. We value fun and freedom, expertise, dedication and teamwork, and we invest in each other.
At the moment all financial activities are handled externally and you will as CFO be the first member of our internal finance department. We are therefore also looking for an entrepreneurial mindset who has the ability to act on a strategic level as well as hands-on in an operational and practical manner.
A few of your key responsibilities:
An experienced financial leader with a proven track record from a consumer scale-up with at least €15+ million in yearly revenue
We’re looking for an experienced CFO well-versed in all aspects of financial management ranging from simple accounting to broad investment and banking operations. Experience with fast growth is a must and an understanding of the dynamics of a direct-to-consumer or e-commerce startup is an advantage.

A few of your key responsibilities:
- Help manage a company in aggressive scale-up mode
- Drive the company’s financial planning
- Perform risk management by analyzing the organization’s liabilities and investments
- Decide on investment strategies by considering cash and liquidity risks
- Control and evaluate the organization’s fundraising plans and capital structure
- Participate in any future fundraising activities with the CEO
- Ensure cash flow is appropriate for the organization’s operations
- Manage vendor relationships, for instance with our external finance department
- Prepare reliable current and forecasting reports
- Set up and oversee the company’s financial system
- Ensure compliance with the law and company’s policies
- Participating in expansion activities (investments, corporate alliances etc.)
- Manage various administrative functions (general IT, back-office)

- Proven experience as CFO, finance officer or equivalent role from an international scaleup
- In-depth knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices
- Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods
- Ability to strategize and solve problems
- Excellent communication and people skills
