JOE & THE JUICE is much more than juice, coffee & sandwiches. Over the last three years the company has grown significantly. JOE & THE JUICE has become one of the fastest-growing digital retail businesses in the world. A core element of our business is the store base with 300 stores across 16 markets which are expected to grow significantly over the next coming years.
Joe & The Juice is growing rapidly and do not expect to slow down in the future. To oversee that the expansion continues without any surprises, we currently need an experienced Controller/Accountant who can ensure that our financial accuracy and accounting processes are second to none.
You will become part of the Group Finance team in the Head Office in Copenhagen, Denmark. You will be reporting to the VP of Finance and work closely together with management across the various countries. We encourage our Juicers to move up through the ranks and into the Main office so it is important that you can communicate accounting in a strait simple manner without losing the sense for details.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create excellent controlling procedures
- Coordinate the entire audit process in collaboration with the external auditors from many different countries
- Ensure accurate and timely Accounting procedures in a +1 B.DKK company with many subsidiaries spread across the globe
- Inspire our team and delegate accounting task between our part-time accountants
- Set up procedures to ensure state of the art monthly closing.
- Process optimization, business process description, and identification of risks and hedging thereof
- Financial controlling as well as the ongoing controlling of the group and its subsidiaries
- Take an active lead role and help drive our ERP system change
WHAT WE PREFER FROM YOU
- You will become the Accounting Tech lead. It does not mean you have to know everything, but you have to be familiar with DK GAAP and IFRS.
- You have an accounting background such as. HD in Accounting or Cand. Merc. Aud.
- You have experience with Financial Controlling and Accounting
- You have experience with delivering audit material and have been key lead on the audit process.
- You are good at immersing yourself in accounting issues
- You have a good understanding of financial controlling and accounting data as well as ensuring ongoing documentation
- Good at creating order, are detail-oriented and structured
- You can engage in an environment with a lot of energy and high pace
