As our new Finance Director, Transport you will act as the Managing Director’s trusted partner and at the same time challenge the Managing Director and the executive team in the global Transport business unit
Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:
- Overall responsible for the financial reporting for Transport globally, present in the Nordics, Europe and Asia
- Responsibility for reporting P/L across Transport with specific focus on our global divisions
- Collecting and consolidating all financial data (results, budgeting, forecasting)
- In charge of the financial planning activities of Transport, including budgeting and forecasting
- Cash management with focus on working capital and account receivables
- Business and financial controlling with special attention to major project reviews
- Elaborating financial business cases for M&A activities together with M&A functions in Ramboll
- Engage in the development of new business models
- Driving financial project excellence of major Transport projects
- Coordinate and manage the daily operation of the functional financial support services in the countries in which Transport is present
- Act as sparring partner to the business and to projects to support management decision-making

- Substantial professional finance and accounting experience (10+ years) of which a significant part must come from project related/consultancy organizations, as a deep understanding of a project driven organization is a key requirement
- Commercial mindset and a constructive challenger to our Project Directors on major projects
- Extensive experience in creating results in an international, multi-cultural and complex organization, such as global matrix organizations
- An expert in getting things done, by involving other parts of the organization which is not in the direct line reference relationship
- Ability to guide the senior management team in driving financial and commercial excellence in the Transport business unit
- Excellent English language skills both written and spoken and in general a good communicator
- MSc in Business Economics or similar education
- Strong strategic and business acumen
- Strong analytical capabilities and being capable of maintaining an overview in a complex environment
