The CFO Transformation Office is currently on a journey to become the centralized facilitator and catalyst for successful execution of strategic and transformational projects in Global Finance. Global Finance will undergo a large-scale finance transformation over the next three years. Thus, the CFO Transformation Office has been established to own the 3-year Global Finance roadmap, while supporting the Management in the CFO area with ad hoc requests such as communication material, presentations and projects.
As a project associate, it is expected that your role will develop as the CFO Transformation Office develops. Independent of your starting point, the initial focus is to assist the Head of CFO Transformation in ensuring a strong executive office setup, acting as a trusted partner for the Finance Leadership team, whether creating presentations for the CFO and Management Team or planning meetings and following up on decisions made. Further examples of tasks include:
- Provide sparring and support to the CFO Management Team with larger and minor presentations
- Ensuring consistent communication, messaging and setup of presentations
- Driving smaller ad hoc projects on the side of Finance Transformation related tasks
- Supporting with secretarial tasks for the Global Finance Leadership team, i.e. develop purpose, annual wheel, planning, etc.
Next, you will also play a key role in assisting the Head of CFO Transformation in the ongoing program management. Hereunder develop, create and maintain the needed toolbox for delivering a successful finance transformation. You will own specific workstreams and work with Project Owners to coordinate and manage projects. Furthermore, you will work daily with:
- Contributing to define clear and strong project management behaviour across Global Finance
- Develop professional and structured approach to project execution, including work plans, issues management, resource management, financials and status reporting
- Enforce a change mind-set across Global Finance, driving effective change management, stakeholder management and communication
The nature and progress of your tasks will be dependent on your background, experience and personal ambitions. Further, we also recognise, that we are a newly established team, with a need to continuously develop and define our playing field, in which you will have a large say.
Being part of a truly global setup, there might be some travel activities. This role might provide the opportunity to travel up to 20 days per year visiting markets and local finance organisations to support the finance transformation journey.
Stakeholder flair and a financial mindset
As a person, you are energetic and have strong people skills. You have superb strategic skills and business understanding, and are able to communicate effectively. You are a natural at presenting and creating story-lines, and you enjoy working with transformation and change.
You have a Master’s degree in Business Administration or Finance, and potentially a background working in management consulting, investment banking, (Finance) Transformation office or similar. Additionally, you have:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a finance and project-oriented role
- Experience working in a scale organisation contributing to development and delivery of business strategies
- Hands-on experience in managing stakeholders in a global organisation
- Extensive knowledge of the Microsoft Office, and building presentations
However, the professional and educational background is not decisive for who will have the role. Your mind-set and willingness to get to know our business and Finance organisation, while driving a finance transformation will be key.
Your new team
You will join the CFO Transformation Office, consisting of three employees. You will report to the Head of CFO Transformation Office and have a close daily collaboration to the Group CFO via the team.
The CFO Transformation is a newly launched team with direct reporting line to the Group CFO. The team is established as part of launching a 3-year finance transformation and are expected to take the ownership of ensuring a successful execution hereof. Thus, you will be part of an exciting area and work as a part of Global Finance, which has a lot of interfaces towards the rest of Finance but also across the business.
