The role is located in the Copenhagen office reporting to Nordic Head of Investment Peter Michael Tetzlaff. You will have a Nordic focus with equal emphasis on Danish and Swedish investment, working closely together with your highly skilled international colleagues. Verdion is looking for a high performing Investment Manager/Associate with ability to work on both strategic and operational level with a solid investment background and a commercial innovative approach. In addition, it is expected to demonstrate strong stakeholder management skills internally and with external partners. The candidate has a genuine and passionate interest in being part of a well-established yet growing ambitious and driven team combing state of the art sustainable investments with long term commercial success.
Your main tasks will be to:
- Source and execute high potential logistics real estate investments in Denmark and Sweden as part of a team and individually
- Play an active role in securing that the Nordic business will develop and grow adjusted to local market conditions in coordination with other Verdion offices
- Contribute with high level strategic and creative approach. Since Development and Asset Management are core parts of Verdion´s business concept, a well-executed acquisition is, most often, only the beginning of a deal. Typically, a Verdion investment involves much after-closing work.
- Play an active role participating in developing the Nordic strategy in alignment with Verdion´s overall strategy, competences and values
- Act hands on as a strong executor in a structured manner. This implies a high demand for proactivity and a willingness to step in and support progress across the full internal value chain.
- Hold a European wide perspective, working with colleagues in the UK, Germany, Sweden and other European countries since Verdion works with international sources of capital, including its own investment funds.
- Contribute to a highly prosperous team and take on strong mandate from Day 1

Requirements
- Solid understanding and experience from the Analyst or Associate / Investment Manager role possibly gained from an investment firm
- Good understanding of all basic steps in the investment process with a toolbox containing relevant structure required for this investment role
- Good knowledge from working with financial modelling
- Strong coordination skills and comfortable with leading a process with external stakeholders and advisors
- Real estate investment experience (preferably logistics real estate), or other alternative investment class experience.
- Previous relevant experience from the Swedish real estate market and not least adequate Swedish business culture and language understanding.
- Comfortable in presenting opportunities to the Verdion board as well as external investors
- Relevant education /degree
