The position:
Flexflight Group is searching an experienced, problem solver and detail-oriented Finance Manager to join our Flexflight Roskilde office. In this position, the Finance Manager will handle daily accounting activities, verify financial records and transactions, and provide guidance to our customers and staff. The incumbent must have a keen attention to details, ensure a clean balance sheet, and prepare financial reports and other special projects as assigned.
You will refer to the Accountable Manager.
Tasks:
All essential job responsibilities will be executed in accordance with Flexflight Group policies and guidelines.

Flexflight Group is searching an experienced, problem solver and detail-oriented Finance Manager to join our Flexflight Roskilde office. In this position, the Finance Manager will handle daily accounting activities, verify financial records and transactions, and provide guidance to our customers and staff. The incumbent must have a keen attention to details, ensure a clean balance sheet, and prepare financial reports and other special projects as assigned.
You will refer to the Accountable Manager.
Tasks:
All essential job responsibilities will be executed in accordance with Flexflight Group policies and guidelines.
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations and oversee accounting procedures and processes.
- Oversee various accounting functions such as journal entry preparation, month-end close, financial statement preparation, balance sheet reconciliation and bank reconciliations.
- Maintain accounting controls by establishing and defining accounting policies and procedures.
- Coordinate preparation of external and internal audits.
- Actively recruit, train, assign, and supervise employees.
- Communicate and enforce expectations, job duties, policies and procedures.
- Monitor and analyse department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources, while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Collaborate with the other department managers to support overall department goals and objectives.
- Guide other departments by researching and interpreting accounting policy; applying observations and recommendations to operational issues.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrate strong leadership, organizational agility and time management.
- Position requires strong verbal and written English communication skills, as well as the ability to work well with internal and external customers of all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Must be extremely flexible with the ability to shift and manage priorities.
- Must be quick, adaptable to change and continue implementation of enhanced processes.
- Resourceful, highly dependable, efficient and detail oriented.
- Ability to multitask and complete duties timely in a deadline driven environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, take initiative and be self- motivated.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a finance managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices required.
- Proficiency in MS Office and computer systems management required (MS Excel – spreadsheet creation/editing, pivot tables, data manipulation/analysis and formulas creation etc.).
- Superuser in Navision Financials is an advantage.
