System Manager – Business Application Services

Your role as System Manager

Working in collaboration with both business experts, end users and solution architects, you will design, configure, support and document solutions supporting critical business processes, primarily in the Quality and application testing and validation domain.

You will be involved in upgrade projects for quality systems, where you will define new functionality, and drive implementation and migration in cooperation with application vendors and business stakeholders. You will also have hands-on in configuring and documenting applications. Therefore, you need to be able to align the process and functional requirements of many different stakeholders and ensure that systems are implemented on time and with the promised specifications.

You will also support, maintain and develop existing systems, to ensure a high level of performance and stability, and be able to come up with innovative solutions to new business needs. GxP Compliance and documentation are a part of our mindset, so experience and demonstrated ability to achieve compliance in an effective and useful way is a requirement.

Furthermore, an ability to understand users and provide friendly and efficient support is a plus, as well as experience with testing tools and methods.

The successful candidate will be a key driver in the adoption and advancement of our application related services and will contribute significantly to both current and future business critical systems in ALK.

Fields of responsibility

• Design, validation and implementation of business systems and upgrades
  
  
• 3rd level support, troubleshooting and validation of existing systems
  
  
• Work with business and QA to ensure application are implemented correctly and with high quality, and to identify innovative solutions to business needs
  
  
• Ensure GxP compliance and documentation (Changes, deviations, CAPAs etc.)
  
  
• Provide solution support and advise to business stakeholders and users
  
  

Your qualifications

As a candidate for the role you have:

• An education in computer science, business administration or similar.
  
  
• Demonstrated ability to drive upgrade and improvements, and to communicate and align with stakeholders
  
  
• Experience with GxP and computerized system validation and implementation
  
  
• Ability to design and maintain effective system management processes
  
  
• Experience with testing tools (ALM/Quality Center) and testing methods
  
  
• Knowledge of Quality processes, terms and regulations is a plus
