Service Operations Specialist

MentorIT is growing fast. Our service operations team is looking forward to welcoming a new member who will join the fun of tackling operational tasks and who will be a sparring partner to and stand-in for Operations Manager in his absence.

About the position

Shoulder to shoulder with your colleagues you will be keeping eye on systems, performing operation, maintenance and optimization of core services as well as ITSM solutions (e.g., monitoring and back up, log management, antivirus, MFA, SW distribution, spam filters, etc.) and improve operational tasks.

Other tasks include:

• Troubleshooting and correcting core services errors.
• Handling monitoring and control of operational stability and performance on core services
• Preparation of documentation of core services.
• Ensuring the execution of ongoing activities comply with our quality goals at core services.
• Selecting and implementing systems to support core services.
• Preparation of guidelines and documentation for internal use regarding core services.
• Being the technical point of contact for suppliers of technology and products in core services.

About you

• 5 years of experience in operation of various IT services
• Well-structured working habits and attention to detail
• Insight in IT security from a core service perspective
• Team player
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written
