MONITORING, EVALUATION, RESEARCH AND LEARNING OFFICER


JOIN GAME’S INNOVATION AND LEARNING TEAM IN GAME HOUSE COPENHAGEN

GAME is a fast growing NGO working to create lasting social change through youth-led street sports and culture. Our young volunteers work to bridge divides and empower children and youth through street sports. The goal is to lower the threshold and let more people get involved in positive sports communities. We have programs in Africa, Europe, and the Middle East. We are looking for a Monitoring, Evaluation, Research and Learning officer to help us document our impact in Denmark and internationally and ensure that we learn from our actions.

ABOUT THE POSITION
As MERL officer you will support colleagues and partners in developing and implementing evaluation designs and facilitating learning activities. You will also coordinate and build research and evaluation collaboration with external partners. You will be part of GAME’s Innovation and Learning team who serves as cross-cutting function for all of GAME, working to ensure learning and innovation in GAME’s programs, using a participatory approach.

AS MERL OFFICER YOU WILL
• Ensure quality of data collection tools and collected data in all of GAME’s programs
• Provide technical support eg. development of MERL approaches, log frames, indicators, introduce data collection tools
• Organize reviews and learning sessions
• Identify key results from project evaluations and ensure organizational learning and dissemination of evaluation findings
• Support and capacity build MERL focal points in the organization including facilitating network and dialogue

WE EXPECT
• You have a master’s degree or equivalent experience
• You are fluent in both Danish and English (Arabic is desirable)
• Are passionate about documenting results and creating organizational learning
• Have experience in monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning, including participatory approaches (can be from junior/student position)
• Have experience in gathering, analyzing, and presenting quantitative and qualitative data
• Have NGO or volunteer experience (desirable)
• Are willing and able to travel internationally

THE PRACTICAL
The preferred start date is June 1. The position is full time with occasional weekend and evening work.
