Signal Processing Engineer for Autonomous Vehicles

AGCO’s Innovation Center in Randers, Denmark is searching for a team player to build, strengthen and develop our competences within environmental perception sensing for semi and full autonomous agriculture vehicles.

Becoming a part of the Research & Advanced Engineering team, you will work with a high degree of autonomy and agile engineering. Your experience and motivation will define how you would play a key role in the development of technologies and concepts enabling highly automated and autonomous agriculture vehicles and processes.

We are motivated by technology and use agile engineering principles to shorten the path from idea to reality utilizing our unique facilities for virtual development, prototyping, lab testing and field testing.

Your tasks and responsibilities include:

• Exploration of suited sensor platforms or components for a given application when HW platform is not given upfront
• Collection of perception sensory data from agricultural environment (virtual, lab and field environments)
• Evaluation and presentation of results
• Collaboration with external technology partners

You have competences within one or several of the following areas:

• Temporal synchronization between multiple sensors
• Sensor and Data fusion
• Familiarity with ROS 1 & 2, OpenCV or Nvidia DriveOS
• Domain knowledge from agriculture, agriculture machinery or other off-highway vehicles is an advantage

• Excellent verbal and written English are necessary.
• An innovative and creative mind-set is essential as detailed product requirements or the engineering toolbox or processes is rarely defined upfront
• Solution-oriented – quick in establishing the root cause of problems and finding potential solutions
