The Role

As our new Project Developer, you will work from home or at our soon-to-be-established office in Finland. You will identify, engage, and negotiate with landowners to obtain land rights to develop utility-scale renewable energy projects with a focus on wind and solar (PV) projects in Finland. In collaboration with your highly experienced and motivated commercial, legal, and technical colleagues, you will contribute with assessing the feasibility and potential of projects and bringing them to the ready-to-build stage. You will also consult and survey partners and subcontractors securing continuous development of our project portfolio.

Primary Responsibilities

• Develop renewable energy projects from the early stages towards a final investment decision and a handover to the construction & operations teams
• Participate in due diligence reviews of existing projects at various stages of development
• Handle the permitting process and interact with all relevant stakeholders
• Negotiate land lease agreements with farmers and other landowners

Your Profile

• You have a relevant university degree or similar
• You have experience in renewable energy development, primarily within wind and solar technologies
• You have full professional proficiency in English and Finnish, and possibly also in Swedish
• You are skilled in MS Office
• You have a valid driving license

You are committed, and structured in your way of working and can demonstrate high levels of communication and interpersonal collaboration with local suppliers, service providers, and various shareholders.
