Our Patient Value and Access Team is looking for a Value Demonstration Lead who can act as one of two company specialists on Danish Medicines Council processes and methodology. You will be driving the development to ensure continued patient access in Denmark in a sustainable and collaborative way.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

Secure fast and broad access to our medicines, beginning at early pipeline stage and up until negotiated contract and recommendation are in place, meaning:

  • Drive Medicines Council product strategy and processes with support from Medical Advisor and internal local and European as well as external partners, ensuring timely insights on disease area, access restrictions, potential evidence gaps, financial barriers as well as processes, perceptions and opinions that can inform our strategy for gaining broad and fast access to our medicines.

  • Build Medicines Council dossiers and adapt global models to Danish requirements and later in the process secure a constructive dialogue with the Medicines Council secretariat and finally negotiate price for reimbursement with Amgros.

  • Act as primary liaison with external partners on Access Development at national and regional level, build long-term relationships with these and other prioritized stakeholders to enable multiple beneficial dialogues and solutions for the benefits of patients, payers and providers.

  • Cooperate in policy shaping initiatives together with Patient Advocacy Lead, Public Affairs and Communication Lead as well as disease specific Core-Team and engage in LIF working groups fx on Medicines Council methodology together with Head of PVA.

  • Drive development within access on fx innovative contracts, new ways of providing and using data, pathways for access externally as well as internally to secure Danish patients’ access to medicines.


SKILLS and COMPETENCIES

  • Technical skills: Strong Health Economic competencies and hands-on experience with complex CEA/CUA models, BIM and cost-minimization.

  • Can-do attitude and ability as well as willingness to seek new solutions and challenge status-quo externally as well as internally.


Experience and Education

  • Relevant university background, i.e., MedIS., Cand.Polit., Cand.Scient.San.Publ., MSc. Health Econ. or Cand.Scient.Pol.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the pharma industry including Health Economics

  • Medicines Council process experience, and a good understanding of the Danish Health Care system, environment, reimbursement flows and management structures

  • Knowledge and preferably experience with Value Based Solutions design and execution

  • Tender and pricing management knowledge

  • Desire to work truly cross-functionally and take responsibility to develop cross-functional solutions to ensure beneficial patient focused outcomes.
