The role is based either inthe People Partnering Hub in Lisbon or in one of our main Maersk locations across Europe or Africa.

As Rewards Deployment Specialist, Projects, you will support the Rewards COE with the deployment of specific Rewards projects.

A key to succeeding in this role will be balancing between significant complexity and diversity across countries and brands globally, with the need for global consistency in terms of policy, process and execution.

You will have a unique opportunity to stretch your capabilities by learning from, sparring with and building lasting relationships with diverse and professional colleagues all over the world.

Key responsibilities

You will support the Global Rewards Partner with planning and coordinating global rewards projects, creating tools and templates to support the processes/projects and create material to upskill Rewards Managers and the greater People Partnering Organization.

Examples of projects and processes:

  • Rewards budgeting (base salary, variable pay and benefits)
  • Salary Benchmarking
  • Salary Range development
  • Sales Incentive support
  • Annual Salary review

Who we are looking for

As for the skillset and experience, we are looking for:

  • 5 years´ experience working with Rewards
  • 2 years’ experience within a complex international organisation with Regional / Global responsibilities
  • Project Management experience will be advantageous
  • Skilled in written communication (policies, operating procedures)
  • Experience of implementing or using a leading global HR system with advanced compensation/benefits functionalities
  • Collaborative working style, fostering cooperation and teamwork to find solutions
  • Highly analytical approach with a strong eye for detail
  • Structured working style and focus on delivering results as per agreed timescales and scope
  • Experience in large international organisations and ability to navigate complex stakeholder matrix.
  • Fluency in English (other key regional languages beneficial but not essential)
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel
