Innovation officer til GAME


GAME IS LOOKING FOR AN INNOVATION OFFICER TO JOIN GAME’S INNOVATION AND LEARNING TEAM IN GAME
GAME is a fast-growing NGO working to create lasting social change through youth-led street sports and culture. Our young volunteers work to bridge divides and empower children and youth through street sports. The goal is to lower the threshold and let more people get involved in positive sports communities. We have programs in Africa, Europe, and the Middle East. We are looking for an Innovation Officer who will be an important part of the development of GAME’s focus areas.

ABOUT THE POSITION
Together with GAME’s Innovation and Learning team, which serves as a cross-cutting function for all of GAME, you will be responsible for innovation and learning across the organization, using GAME’s design principles and a participatory approach. A significant part of your work will be centered around developing funding proposals for new projects/programs and facilities in Denmark and internationally, but you will also take part in supporting development and innovation more broadly across our programs and facilities. It is required that you are fluent in both Danish and English.

AS AN INNOVATION OFFICER YOU WILL

  • Support and sometimes lead the development of concept notes and funding proposals
  • Contribute to the creation of systems and structured processes for fundraising
  • Contribute to capacity building of colleagues and partners in the field of fundraising
  • Contribute to program/facility development in both existing and new programs/facilities
  • Contribute to organizational/programmatic learning
  • Facilitate participatory design processes and contribute to internal education and capacity building in the field of participatory design

WE EXPECT

  • You have a master’s degree or equivalent experience
  • You are good at writing both comprehensive and thorough and short and effective
  • You have experience in fundraising (desirable)
  • You are analytical, structured and think creatively
  • You can facilitate and carry out participatory processes both internally and externally
  • You have NGO or volunteer experience (desirable)
  • You are willing and able to travel internationally

THE PRACTICALITIES
The preferred start date is August 1, 2022. The position is full time with occasional weekend and evening work
