Opportunity as Spare Part Specialist at world-leading audio company HARMAN

Harman is looking for the ultimate team player, who has great technical know-how in electronic component level. As Spare Part Specialist, you will be a part of the Spare part planning and the customer service team, which works closely together with the teams in Amsterdam and China. The position is within HARMAN’s Lifestyle division EMEA and is based in Kvistgård, Denmark.

You will be in charge of spare part forecasting and selection so new, current, and updated products can be serviced in the future.

You will secure and coordinate service documentation in cooperation with Global customer service and technical support, and support service stations and Distributors in spare part requests.

Other primary tasks include:

• Planning and forecasting which spare parts Harman will use in the future in regard to NPI (new product introduce) and LTB (last time buy).
• Identify regional need for parts prior to product market release
• Find substitute parts when requested parts are no longer available.
• Change part descriptions in cooperation with global spare part procurement teams.
• Investigate problems on part issues reported from the after sales teams and support the supply chain analyst with identifying obsolete parts.

You have a technical education and experience in the field of consumer electronics

Further, you:

• Have professional working proficiency in English.
• Are numerate, analytical, and structured.
• Have high-level knowledge in Excel.
• Are a proven team player with excellent communications skills who can effectively work with all levels of a global matrixed organization.
