The Wind Energy and Renewables department consists of 130 committed colleagues working from Denmark, Germany, Norway and Taiwan. You will join a social, friendly and culturally diverse international section that delivers both onshore and offshore wind energy solutions and offers full lifecycle services to our customers. We are a well functional and highly motivated section, with noticeable experience in making wind energy solutions possible even under the most complex conditions. Since 1980, we have been involved in the development of more than 1,000 wind power projects in 70 countries and the development continues.
ARE YOU OUR NEW SENIOR WIND ENERGY ANALYST?
We are looking for a Senior Wind Energy Analyst with solid experience in Site Assessment, Wind Resource Analysis and Energy Yield Calculations to support our Site Assessment team within our international Onshore and Offshore Wind assignments. You will be welcomed by a team of friendly and open-minded international colleagues, besides our three Wind Energy Analysts, our disciplinary backgrounds ranges from Project Managers, Finance- and Project Development Advisors to GIS- and Metocean Experts.

To do well in this position, you should be result-oriented while keeping a focus on high-quality and thoroughness. You thrive in multicultural environments and cross disciplinary work, you are comfortable in working independently but also in collaboration with colleagues. You feel comfortable in dealing with both, projects in an early phase of development, as well as projects in which advanced analysis and a high level of accuracy is expected. In addition to this, you are outgoing and enjoy close relations to customers and possess English language proficiency on a professional level.
We would be thrilled to hear from candidates who resembles the following:
• A MSc or BSc in Meteorology, Engineering, Physics or a similar highly numerical discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the wind energy sector.
• High level proficiency in wind energy software (e.g., WindPro, WindFarmer).
• Skills in GIS software, MS Excel and coding/programming (e.g., Python, Matlab).
• Previous experience within Due Diligence, Engineering Consultancy or Project Development is an advantage.
We would prefer to anchor the position at our HQ in Lyngby or Hamburg (Germany). But we are also open to discuss the option of working from our offices in Aalborg, Vejle or Aarhus.

- Analysis and interpretation of wind data (incl. measured and modelled datasets)
- Computational wind flow simulations using linear and non-linear models and generation of wind statistics
- Design of wind farm layouts for Onshore and Offshore wind farms and calculation of bankable energy yield assessments
- Analysis production data (SCADA) as part of Power Curve Verification assignments
- Conception and evaluation of wind measurement campaigns according to IEC standards
- Due Diligence of third-party energy yield assessment reports
- Close contact to customers and clients within your field of expertise
- Training and mentoring of junior staff as well as continuous development of in-house tools and processes
