European Energy is a Danish privately owned company in rapid growth. We construct wind and photovoltaic (PV) projects, from greenfield development to construction, operation, and divestment. Our company of 420 employees has since 2004 installed more than 2 GW of renewable energy. We operate globally and employ 30 different nationalities at our office in Søborg, Copenhagen. Our mission is to be significant in the global transition to a fossil free society.
We are looking for three Student Assistants to join our skilled Danish Project Development team, preferably two Student Assistants in/near Aalborg and one Student Assistant in Copenhagen. One of the team’s main goals is to develop new wind and photovoltaic (solar) projects all over Denmark.
As our new Student Assistant, you will work with a big variation of interesting tasks. You will support your colleagues in the team delivering sound results on time. Furthermore, you will assist our development department by maintain and develop project data in our GIS system.
Working hours are flexible and working from home is possible. The job therefore requires a high degree of independence.
It is essential that you possess good problem-solving skills, critical thinking and that you are motivated by completing projects effectively and going the extra mile.

Areas of responsibility
- Maintain and develop our GIS database
- Maintain and develop our project overview
- Municipal contact
- Support the project team with various administrative tasks
Who are you?
- You are currently studying a bachelor or master at university level or an equivalent institution within sustainable energy planning and management, urban energy planning and management, or similar, and it is good if you have at least 1 year left before graduation
- Full professional proficiency in Danish and English. It is good if you have knowledge of German
- Experience working with Qgis and Arcgis
- General knowledge of municipal planning processes
