European Energy is an international company in rapid growth. We cover all phases of wind and photovoltaic (PV) solar projects, from early project development to operation and, in some cases, divestment of the assets. We are +430 employees with 30 different nationalities, and since 2004 we have installed more than 100 renewable projects representing a total value of more than DKK 18 billion. Currently, we have a development pipeline exceeding 25 GW and operate globally with our headquarter in Copenhagen and local offices in 16 other countries, primarily in Europe. Our mission is to be a significant force in the global transition to a fossil free society.
As our new Project Development Assistant your focus will be on supporting the development and handling of our wind- and solar (PV) projects in Romania in order to build up the Romanian pipeline. In collaboration with your highly experienced and motivated commercial, legal, and technical colleagues, you will contribute to assessing the feasibility and potential of such projects. We expect to expand the team as the pipeline grows, which will bring interesting opportunities to this role.
You have solid interpersonal and collaboration skills to negotiate with various stakeholders. You show flexibility, have good structural skills, and thrive in a motivated and multidisciplinary environment.

Areas of responsibilities
- Support building up the Romanian pipeline
- Participate in projects in Western Balkans
- Project support and administration with the local team and HQ
- Support new greenfield, brownfield, and Ready-to-Build wind and PV projects including project management and administration
- Participate in market and project development and develop stakeholder overview and connections
- Liaison with local suppliers throughout project lifecycle in close cooperation with HQ
Your profile
- You have completed a relevant university degree or other similar degree, e.g. within economics, business administration, law, or energy/planning
- You have experience from renewable energy development, engineering or corporate finance, alternatively public administration within planning/energy
- You have experience within project management, e.g., in a similar role
- You are skilled in MS Office
- You are proficient in English and Romanian
- You are organized and have good communication skills
