About this opportunity

In International Strategic Coverage we have the global segment responsibility for Nordea’s business with our strategic International Financial institutions such as banks, asset managers, hedge funds, Central Banks, Sovereign Wealth Funds, insurance and life & pension companies, and Financial Market Infrastructures (FMI’s), such as Clearing Counter Parties (CCPs) and International Central Securities Depositories (ICSD’s).

The role we are looking to fill, will mainly be working with our FMI portfolio. This is an opportunity to be in the very heart of the specialised – and important – area of clearing. You will develop a deep understanding of this specific area, as well as obtaining a larger understanding of the different aspects of correspondent banking - and learn to use that knowledge to the benefit of Nordea and yourself.

As the Client Associate, you have a key role to coordinate with teams across the bank to ensure that our clients receive top of the line service in all encounters. Your daily work will consist of tasks related to the relationship towards International FI’s including credit and compliance. You will work closely and support Client Executives to identify & mitigate possible risks in the portfolio and providing the best possible assistance to our dedicated product teams as well as compliance. As the Client responsible you are encouraged to innovate processes and take initiatives to improve, simplify and progress as well as find ways to grow our business with existing and new customers. This is a client facing role which will give you a broad reach both internal and external as well as product knowledge. Providing you a strong foundation to develop and further your career.
