Integrations Developer

You will be part of a team of highly skilled Integrations specialists. The team is end-to-end responsible for all processes and integrations that are running between internal applications and with Solar’s customers and vendors.

What will you be doing you ask?
The IT integrations team is utilizing state-of-the-art technologies and principles, and you will take part in delivering important strategic initiatives within the integrations and API management area. You will be involved in the implementation of integrations using integration design patterns, development guidelines and standards defined by Solar. System support, troubleshooting and system maintenance will also be on your plate. Such tasks are vital, as the team must ensure that we also keep the lights on of existing solutions.

Your responsibilities include:

• Working closely with stakeholders and the integrations team to ensure proposed design and solutions comply with the Solar Integrations Strategy and Principles.
• Learning relevant integration technologies, design-patterns and principles.
• Integrating applications using an API-based approach and developing integrations utilizing Microsoft Azure Integration Services.
• Implementing solutions through automated processes in Microsoft Azure DevOps.
• Performing unit-testing for developed integrations, verifying functionalities based on acceptance criteria.
• Documenting end-to-end solution, integration flow, data models, configurations and setup.
• Responsible for getting solutions reviewed by integration architect before implementation.
• Contributing to refining, estimating and planning of relevant tasks using agile methodology.

What we wish to see in you
You have a relevant degree of Bachelor or Master level in Computer Science/IT or similar. You might have 1-2 years of experience within system development and integrations – however, this is not a requirement.

It is an advantage if you have knowledge of the following:

• API development using Microsoft .net, C#, ASP.net, WEB API.
• Understanding of REST API design patterns.
• Azure DevOps and Cloud technologies such as Azure etc.
• Worked with agile processes, SCRUM and DevOps and understanding of the MVP approach.
• Knowledge of micro/mini service architecture.

It is important for us that you are eager to learn and bring with you a bright mind, but also a positive spirit and curiosity for new technologies and new ways of doing things. We communicate with internal stakeholders but also with customers and vendors, and therefore communications skills, a service orientation and a flair for understanding processes skills are critical for success.
