Emineo is Latin for “I am Eminent”. With the risk of sounding cocky this is exactly what Emineo is – outstanding!

Emineo was founded in 1997 and from the beginning we focused on only one service, Oracle Databases (Oracle & MySQL), local and in cloud. Today we also focus on MS SQL, MySQL and Postgres and together with our Danish colleagues from Miracle42 we have created the Nordic Excellence – “Powerhouse of Databases”. We are part of ITM8 with +1.700 employees.

About the job

Regardless of you being Oracle/Postgres/MS SQL expert you will become a vital part of a highly skilled team. You will help our clients both on-site and remote. The job requires that you are able to work both independently and in teams and that you are not afraid of going the extra mile to support our customers. We will of course prepare you for the tasks through our onboarding program.

Responsibilities:

As a DBA you will typically do:

• Design, installation, upgrading for our customers
• Performance optimization
• Consulting regarding databases
• Maintaining active and beneficial relationships with customers in a proactive way

• You are structured and have the ability to analyze your customers' business and needs
• You are good at stakeholder management
• You hold an entrepreneurial mindset, are a team player, and find it easy to motivate yourself

We imagine that you have the following professional qualifications:

• Full working proficiency in English and Swedish
• 6+ years of proven experience as DBA
• Highly developed influencing and communication skills

• General good technical understanding and insight
