European Energy is a Danish privately owned company in rapid growth. We cover all phases of wind and photovoltaic (PV) solar projects, from early development to operation and in some cases divestment of assets as well as Power-to-X. We operate globally and employ 30 different nationalities at our HQ in Copenhagen and at our offices in 19 other locations, primarily in Europe. As our new Project Associate, you will work from our office in Riga supporting European Energy’s business in Latvia. You will be part of our Project Department, which handles development and construction of our projects.

The Latvian team consists of our Head of Riga Office, 2 Project Managers and 1 Land Development Agent.

Areas of responsibility

Your focus will be assisting our project pipeline in various stages, to ensure that we are well coordinated and on top of all the issues relevant to the development, financing and construction of renewable assets. You will participate in market and project development and elaborate stakeholder overviews. You will liaise with local suppliers throughout project lifecycle in close collaboration with HQ. You will also work on office daily administrative tasks and documentation supporting the delivery of our projects.

Your profile

• You have completed a Bachelor or Master at university level or an equivalent education within economics, administration, law or similar
• We imagine that you have at least 3 years of experience as a Project Assistant or Associate; maybe from real estate, a legal firm, an engineering company handling documents. You are used to contact with public authorities.
• You thrive in an administrative and hands-on position with high pace and many stakeholders
• You are an experienced user in MS Office
• You are proficient in English orally and in writing.

You thrive taking on responsibility being process-oriented with a vigilant eye on the details. It is important that you are a team-oriented person since you will become part of a small team focusing on making the daily routines and processes work even better.

Salary: 2500 - 3500 EUR gross/month depending on experience
