At Johnson Controls in Aarhus, we are now searching for a Refrigeration Design Engineer for our OTC Support Department within non-standard products (OTC – Order to Customize). As a Refrigeration Design Engineer your primary task will be to validate and design solutions in accordance with refrigeration and mechanical specifications and relevant design norms to support our sales department. You will as well execute sold orders.

As a part of our OTC support department, you will join a dynamic team of five other Design Engineers, who all work with tailor-made solutions for our customers around the word.

What you will do

Johnson Controls Holme specializes in the development, design, production, and sale of industrial refrigeration systems and heat pumps, and in this role, you will help ensure that we fulfil our growth ambitions and deliver the right quality of our projects within non-standard systems.

How you will do it

• Design and create non-standard products
  
  
• Configure units in accordance with the customer’s contract.
  
  
• Use the drawing program, Inventor to prepare the drawings of new products
  
  
• Be in close contact with our production, purchasing, and planning departments
  
  
• You will to some extent be in contact with customers regarding modification and specifications to their order

Skills

• 3-5-years knowledge of and experience with industrial refrigeration systems
  
  
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering or similar
  
  
• Communicate in both Danish and English, and you have experience with Inventor / ACAD and MSOffice
  
  
• It is an advantage if you have;
  
  

• experience with Marine class societies and keen to expand your knowledge in the area
  
  

• knowledge of ATEX applications and SAP systems
