All about the role

As Country Director Denmark , we rely on you to deliver growth across your market through entrepreneurship and top-class leadership. You will directly and indirectly manage relevant departments to ensure growth. Effective communication between local market teams and central HQ is key. It also means being responsible for local culture and driving engagement.

The goal is to deliver growth across Denmark, using your skills as a world-class Director and providing leadership which contributes to the overall global success of Just Eat Takeaway.com.

Your responsibilities also involve:

• You are P&L accountable for Just Eat Denmark.
• Driving business growth for Denmark, managing directly Sales, Account Management, Strategic Account, Data & Analytics & Communication and acting as a leader for all Denmark employees
• Creating, owning and executing the commercial strategy for Just Eat Denmark with the support of the central functions for Marketing, Logistics, Customer Service, Finance, Legal, and Product & Tech.
• Setting up and monitoring KPIs for restaurants, logistics, customers, and staff.
• Cross-country planning & strategy.
• Cross-country business intelligence and improvements.
• Leading a wide range of activities across the country, with a focus on building the business and a high performing team.
• Taking ownership of cross-functional coordination, conflict resolution, company culture & communications
• Representing JET at local events and acting as a spokesperson for the company in Denmark.
• Using the specialists and resources throughout the company to drive value, efficiency and business success across your market.
• Building team spirit through your people-management skills, to ensure successful results locally and internationally.
• Reporting directly to the EVP of International Managing Directors.

Can you deliver…

Ready to take on the role? These are the ingredients we need from you:

• Proven track record in Country Management/ GM roles, in empowering country entrepreneurial drive, while adhering to central/corporate guidelines.
• Experience of building and growing a business within a B2B and B2B2C digital marketplace or e-commerce business.
• Commercial, business development background and familiarity with entrepreneurial and matrixed organizations.
• Confident in navigating and leading teams through periods of significant expansion.
• Able to handle a wide range of teams across a growing business, and willing to listen and learn from others.
• Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in Danish and English with strong communication and presentation skills.
• A highly efficient, proactive and data-driven approach to your work.
• Comfortable making vital decisions and undertaking negotiations.
• Excellent program management and analytical skills.
• Able to think strategically and develop and communicate a compelling vision.
