A big portfolio handled by project managers and experts

With an impressive company growth and a substantial project portfolio to be executed in the next 7-10 years in Hørsholm, you and your team will have your plate full of exciting and engaging projects for the foreseeable future. The focus of ALK is to develop, modernize and further professionalize its manufacturing capability and your team of project managers and subject matter experts will have a pivotal role in making this happen.

Your responsibilities will be:

• Managing the Engineering Projects team in Manufacturing Support
• Ensure team performance with focus on time, quality, cost, and regulatory compliance.
• Promote a good and safe working environment in the department in line with company values.
• Design and align strategies within engineering, linking the strategy to the daily work and seek harmonization across projects and daily production.
• Participate in scoping of CAPEX projects.
• Responsible for support to larger engineering projects at site in Hørsholm.

In the future ALK will be on a journey of optimizing technologies in production and being a part of this transformation and from the beginning you will play an instrumental role in its success.

A highly competent and expanding team

Engineering skills and project competencies are at the forefront of the team of 10-15 people in various project roles and on different CAPEX projects in manufacturing.

The team is used to a manager who understands both engineering challenges and projects and have used her for sparring and consulting on everything from technical details to managing stakeholders. We aim for this culture to continue and grow.

It is important to stress that the projects in the team are all handled by your own or assigned Project Managers depending on the scope. You are not supposed to run individual projects alongside managing our A team.

The team is located in Hørsholm (DK) and because we are the headquarters of ALK, there is a definite possibility of taking Hørsholm solutions to a Global level.

About you

You have an educational background with a master’s degree within engineering or related fields. It is important that you are experienced in sparring with colleagues in their field of expertise and enduring progress on the different projects in the portfolio. You might not drive individual projects, but it is considered an advantage if you have a successful track record in managing projects at some point in your career.

As it is an exciting challenge with many internal and external stakeholders, thus you should thrive in communicating freely and frequently with all kinds of people.

These are some of the qualifications that will bring you into consideration:

• +3 years of experience in managing a team within Engineering
• Experience with project execution, qualification activities, computerized system validation, cleaning validation
• Good stakeholder management skills
• Experience with GxP and Pharma industry helps but is not mandatory
• Speak and write English professionally
