Commercial Manager

As Commercial Manager at KMC, you will be responsible for managing KMC’s commercial activities within food applications in the area, including daily cooperation with distributors and, in general, ensuring implementation of KMC HQ interests and policies. Moreover, it is important that you can work efficiently and follow the principles of Commercial Excellence.
KMC is on a growth journey and operates in a market demanding a constant eye on the situation. Therefore, you must have an international mindset knowing the value of strategic partnerships and alliances with customers to obtain the best possible base for the continuous growth of KMC. Moreover, you have an excellent overview of the national and international market situation to react proactively to these.
With a direct report to Regional Director, you will have responsibility for your assigned countries and direct sale in Europe and Scandinavian. You will be responsible for building and maintaining long, value-based collaborations with customers and identifying new opportunities. You will also be budget and forecast responsible.
Your main tasks are:
Your qualifications include cultural understanding and international sales experience with a close focus on product and price management. You can work across the entire organisation; thus, you must be a team player, valuing close cooperation with colleagues.
You have practical experience within e.g., distributor sales from a similar industry; however, an educational background in Economics or Business Administration will be an advantage.
As a person, you are self-driven, enterprising, and proactive. You manage to influence others with a positive and ambitious mindset and thrive in a dynamic and international environment. You have a high level of confidence, integrity, and a solid understanding of stakeholder management.
KMC offers a steep learning curve with opportunities for personal and professional development.
Travelling: Approximately 60-80 days per year.
Domicile: Driving distance of one hour from Brande, Denmark.

- Ensuring optimal customer and product prioritisation, including sales channel management as per KMC sales strategy and the principles of Commercial Excellence
- Facilitating cooperation and follow-up on distributors/agents, including distributor training
- Optimising use and allocation of resources following targets set in strategy, sales budget/forecast, CRM, and Product Strategies
- Ensuring alignment with distributors and agents regarding project status, prioritisation, next step, etc., using CRM
- Ensuring alignment of travel activity with the Technical Sales Manager involved
- Planning and accomplishing necessary travelling activities to ensure implementation of the strategy and the topics mentioned above
