About Us
DIG offers five study programmes: Business Elite, Business & Science Elite, Business & Economics Elite, Business & International Culture, and the IBB programme, which is our programme in English.
DIG has just over 1000 students and 75 committed teachers. Our aim is to be the first choice for ambitious students, to improve their academic skills, and prepare them for their future careers.
Our students are highly motivated and most of them have a minimum of five subjects at the highest attainable level, A level. Consequently, they have high expectations for themselves and especially their teachers.
About you
Therefore, you need to have a strong sense of professionalism and your main aim would be to convey that professionalism to the students. As an educational institution we prefer a candidate who has international experience, contact to companies, organizations, and institutions for further education which you can integrate in your teaching. We work with a large variety of learning methods and styles, and you will thrive in an environment with constantly changing teaching methods.
Much of our work is done in teams, and we therefore prefer applications from candidates who enjoy co-operating with colleagues representing a large variety of subjects. You must therefore be prepared for multidisciplinary collaboration. It is very important that you want to develop your students’ skills as well as your own and that you are willing to take an active part in educational projects and in developing your digital competences.
As a colleague you should be friendly, helpful, and social and take pleasure in joining the debate on teaching methodology as well as on the subjects taught. You should be willing to share your experiences, materials, and courses. And lastly you should be comfortable with clear goals and with meeting them.
Our Requirements
We expect that you have a master’s degree with the necessary ECTS points relating to your subjects. A professional postgraduate teacher training diploma would be appreciated, but it is not a requirement.
Please make sure that you meet the teaching qualifications relating to Informatics C.
