Internal Consultant – IBM Planning Analytics (TM1)

We are looking for an Internal Consultant for our IBM Planning Analytics setup (TM1) with direct reference to the head of Financial Planning & Analysis. The position plays a crucial role in creating transparency, easy access to data, and enabling off-the shelf reporting for the business. The FP&A team serves as the anchor point for the group wide financial processes and performance management setup.

As a part of Financial Planning & Analysis you’ll join a strong finance community with more than 70 highly skilled colleagues, across multiple functions and locations across the Nordics and Poland. This position can be filled at all of our offices in Denmark.

Key responsibilities and tasks

As an Internal Consultant in Finance you will:

• Be the anchor point for the group wide reporting solution and planning model
• Constantly improve methodologies and processes around reporting & analysis including non-financial topics through TM1 and BI Solutions.
• Maintain and develop the eg budget and Forecast model
• Support the M&A onboarding and integration of acquired companies into the eg Data model.
• Collaborate with the finance team on developing new reports
• Lead the DWH team, and ensure that the eg data model kept up to date
• Support the transformation of eg’s Planning Analytics setup, by a continuous focus on identification and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives
• Support the implementation and benefit realization from our new state of the art system setup (Jira, NetSuite, Salesforce, ServiceNow)

The right candidate

The role requires in-debt experience (3-5 years) with IBM Planning Analytics (TM1), from either a consulting role or from a large corporation. In the role you will need solid stakeholder management expertise and be comfortable with working in the cross-section between business and finance, understanding the underlying objectives of their work combined with demonstrating a deep understanding of the business Financial Processes. Further, you will need excellent communication skills and be able to adapt to both technical and business speak where needed.

Furthermore, we expect the following from you:

Essential technical skills

• Full Project Lifecycle (Requirements, Build, Test, Deploy and Document)
• IBM Planning Analytics (TM1)
• Knowledge of ETL and data integration
• Database Skills (SQL Server)

Other desirable technical skills

• Cognos Enterprise Planning
• Other Planning tools (e.g. Anaplan, Workday Adaptive Planning, SAP BPC)

Non-technical skills & experience

• Good experience and understanding of Business Financial Processes, (Accountancy)
• Interest in becoming an inspiring leader for your team
• Ability to manage a team of two Data Warehouse Analysts
• Ability to self-manage and work without direct supervision
• Capturing and understanding internal business requirements
• Designing and implementing IBM Cognos Planning solutions
• Supporting finance colleagues with demonstrations
• Support and diagnosis on existing Planning/TM1 installations
• Building and maintaining good relationship with business units/end users
• Speak and write English fluently, preferably Danish as well
• Structured, persistent, and result-driven
