We are looking for our next talent in Europe to join Used Equipment business line as a Business Development Manager to join the Used Equipment team in Europe to support and drive results by collaborating with the regions customer centers and support the buy and resale of Used Equipment, as part of the total solutions offering. If you are passionate about business development in a multi-cultural environment, then we have a fantastic opportunity for you. The Role:
- Development and direct management alongside our European customer centers, to execute and achieve both buy, and resale targets as set by the divisional management.
- In line with divisional requirements a regional focus is required to support the Global business lines towards sustainable growth in the designated territory according to local legal standards,
- To support and develop together with your strategic region and countries a competitive advantage in offering a professional used equipment solution, as part of the total solutions philosophy.
- To market the Group’s Core Used Equipment, supporting the correct FMV in the buy in process and sales process
- Responsible for alignment with marketing, sales, sales-administration, support, and consolidated performance of the Used business line
- Have a clear vision on the current position of the responsible Product Lines (APE), the future goal to achieve and the strategy to follow, including short- and long-term action plans.
- Develop a culture of external and internal customer Centricity
- Maintain a close relationship with the regions BLM & Local GM and management team to coordinate strategies.
- Evaluate monthly financial performance of your responsible regions, sales reports
- Develop innovation to create alternative ways of sustainability solutions, through repurpose and reconditioning of end-of-life equipment
- Achieve through planning our commitment to a circular economy, with clear plans to support the Social, environmental, and commercial sustainably.
- Achieve through planning, a digitization journey of process, to achieve efficiencies and drive productivity with tangible results.
- Be the C4C Lead generation champion creating triggers to the sales teams, to promote the sales of incremental new equipment, through buyback of used
Responsibilities and objectives
Business Development
- Implement the optimal marketing mix of product - price - promotion - place - people through a evolving marketing plan, and inline with divisional set targets and expectations
Product
- Continuously evaluate the mix of products best suited for European and Global markets.
- Promote actively a specific range of products through a Global used platform
- Continuously explore product outlet possibilities
- Create a sustainable Buyback and resale channel with used equipment, creating a completive advantage for the Regional Customer center
- Liaise with the relevant Product Company’s regarding market demands, trends, competitor activities, and support where value can be added
What we expect of you?
- Considerable experience in a Sales company, in Sales and Marketing related roles.
- Experience in working within the construction or related industries
- Commercial and organizational experience
- Proven people management experience
- Excellent command of English written and oral.
- Good computer and presentation skills
- Good business financial knowledge
- Strong active user and promoter of C4C
- University Degree, preferably in a mechanical field or similar through experience
- Commercial or business acumen is an advantage
- Strategic thinking and planner, able to create and to communicate a vision to team members
- Excellent communication competency with focus on ability to impact and to influence positive others
- Leadership and people management skills
- Committed to excellence keeping the main goal in focus, but also able to think analytically
- Faces challenges with energy, positivity, and courage
- Promote accountability and fosters team cohesiveness
- Willingness to travel and develop relationships
