Your role in the team

Atea Managed Services consists of more than 1300 employees in five countries, delivering managed services from the whole Hybrid IT spectrum to customers in the Nordics and Baltics. We offer a place to develop your expertise and where each day offers new challenges to solve together with your colleagues and customers.

As our Technical Writer you will be focused on producing and maintaining a set of material regarding our services. You will oversee our way to describe services and will produce the majority of the text. In collaboration with the Service Portfolio Management team, our legal advisors, our Service Owners and Product Managers you will make sure we consistently describe our services in a professional and business-oriented way. You will also be involved in making sure our language usage is up to par in quarterly and yearly internal management reports.

Your personal characteristics are crucial to succeed in the role and to thrive at Atea. You are passionate about languages and the power of words. You know that it is in the details the real difference resides. You have a good grasp of technology and a what you do not already understand you put your mind to understanding. You can describe complex things in a way most people can understand it, and you can make simple things appear beautiful.

You are a person who enjoys being a humanities person in a technical oriented environment. You are the one guiding us to on how to get ahead of the curve in our written service materials. Maybe you worked with similar things before, but maybe you havn’t but you are armed with passion and knowledge about languages and really want to try our to make the tech sector a little bit better in that area. I’m confident that we will have so much to gain from someone who is not like the rest of us working here.

To succeed as a Technical Writer you need:

• Expert Level English.
• Relevant language education.
• Grit – mindset is of high importance!
• A love for Change Management – we will never stop transforming!
• To be able to write this job ad much better than I can. We will not hire you to tell you what to do, we will hire you so you can show us how it’s done!

Beneficiary but not necessary skills:

• Good skills or better in one or more of the Nordic or Baltic languages.
• Documented experience or education within the IT sector.
