About the job
IT Relation is looking for an experienced Configuration Manager with a great drive and courage, who will be responsible for compliance in our CMDB. You will be responsible for setting up a compliance reports, to track and correct Assets, and thus improve the data quality. As our new Configuration Manager, you need to innovate and further develop a solid CMDB together with a group of skilled developers. As a Configuration Manager at IT Relation, you will be involved in operating and developing Asset Management at a very high level, and also have the overall responsibility for the process around Asset Management.

One of the department's main goals is to build, describe and develop relationships between assets for a new large and more professional Asset Database. This is to ensure that existing units and functions are involved in the establishment of our future asset management competencies. The Asset Database contains data from several important sources, which together enrich the individual assets with necessary data. Your task will be to describe processes and procedures around Asset Management, as well as to act as a translator between the business and the technicians who develop and operate the Asset Database.

In addition, the work tasks range widely from giving input to strategy, maintaining permits and licenses to ensuring registration quality, follow-up and development / building of processes.

About you
You have good technical skills but also a good organizational understanding and a commercial mindset. It is crucial that you are able to navigate and communicate among technicians and managers, as you get a close collaboration with technical key people across teams throughout the organization. You are good at working in a structured, thorough manner and are able to maintain an overview of the operation, even when there is a peak load. IT Relationship is in a rapid development and the same applies in relation to Asset Management, which is why it is important that you are also flexible and thrive at a high pace. To be successful in the job, it is necessary that you have experience and competencies with the disciplines within asset management, supplemented by a reasonably broad knowledge within the IT area.

Your educational background is not that important, but you have at least five years of experience in the role of Service Configuration Manager or a similar position.

In addition, you possess the following competencies:

  • You have knowledge of, and experience with, data modelling.
  • You have in-depth knowledge of standards and certifications within asset management.
  • You have experience with optimizing processes across operations and projects.
  • You are able to take the initiative and are outreach in relation to new solution options.
  • Knowledge of the IT area will be an advantage.
  • You are used to working systematically, structured and you ensure progress taking into account the time and priority of the task.
  • You work in a complex organization and challenge existing dogmas in a constructive way, where you focus on both the big picture and the detail.
  • You can communicate with both specialists and top management, and you can keep a cool head, even when things are going strong.
  • You are fluent English, both spoken and writen.

You will join our Service Management Team
The daily collaboration will take place in close relationship with our Service Management Team and our “Process Organization” which together make up 10 colleagues in both Denmark and the Czech Republic. You become part of a team where an informal and humorous tone means a lot in everyday life.
