MDM Solution Specialist

How much master data does it take to run a webshop with more than 1,250,000 materials in four countries? How many requirements must be met to stock the same materials in a fully automated central warehouse?

If you would like to become one of the MDM Solution Specialists, who take care of the critical MDM applications handling all the master data, we now have an open position. The team is passionate about .NET, MS SQL, & master data solutions in general - and they always aim to deliver a great experience to the end users, and they take pride in delivering clean and effective code.

What will you be doing you ask?
Your primary task will be to deliver new features on our existing platforms for master data management, master data distribution and other supporting applications.

In the team we truly believe that the best solutions are made when we have a solid business understanding. Therefore, you will be required to align and collaborate with our business partners to understand the demand, to challenge business on solution requirements and to design the possible solutions on an architectural level with the team.

What we wish to see in you
We are looking for a responsible, committed and technically robust specialist, who wants to be a part of a strong team working in an international environment. To succeed in the job, you must have advanced knowledge of .NET technologies and MS SQL. Like the rest of the team, you must aim to deliver a high user experience and it is important for you to deliver clean and effective code (e.g. SOLID principles).

Furthermore, we envisage that you….

• Have a relevant education or degree
• Professional experience as developer with .Net framework (3+ years)
• Good analytical and debugging skills
• Experience with SQL
• Experience with Web API technology (SOAP/REST)
• Experience with Azure cloud solutions
• Knowledge of desktop technologies, such as WPF
• Practical knowledge and experience with unit tests

As a person you are open minded, collaborative, and communicative. You have a strong team-orientation and the ability to challenge existing perceptions. It is important that you are customer oriented, flexible and service minded, and since the team is global and our corporate language is English, you need to speak and write it fluently.
