SKOV experiences growth with their farm management solutions worldwide, more and more applications are developed, and SKOV needs a Software Test Lead to support the overall quality of the solutions with a small team of highly skilled test professionals.

As Software Test Lead at SKOV, you will experience a working day with great flexibility and a variety of tasks.

Your main responsibility will be to:

• Managing software testing standards and best practices and ensuring these are implemented across software development teams.
• Ensuring quality can be quantified and faults addressed during the software increments.
• Run test coordination forum to build knowledge across teams – make each other stronger by sharing experiences across teams.

All in all, you will lead the development, planning, and maintenance of good practices of software testing with your team. All development of applications and solutions are running and being handled on controllers, on Windows PCs, and in Azure Cloud.

A working week as Software Test Lead

You will be faced with various exciting tasks and subjects, and you will be engaged in the following:

• Managing test coordination between software development teams within the software increments and also regarding long-duration tests.
• Ensuring artifacts, such as test plans, etc., are kept up to date and easy to communicate.
• Run test coordination forum to build knowledge across teams – make each other stronger by sharing experiences across teams.

With direct report to the R&D Manager, you will become a vital part of SKOV’s team of software test people who are eager to do a good job today and even better tomorrow.

Your qualifications are a minimum of 3 years of experience within different testing systems, software testing, and experience with test management tools. As Software Test Lead, you possess a technical background with the curiosity and will to understand new technologies.

You have hands-on experience within test development both on the component level and system level, as well as experience in technical leadership skills. Further, knowledge of and experience in product development is a requirement, such as product integrations, processes, and large-scale automated testing.

You have a bachelor’s degree or a master’s degree in control engineering, automation engineering, computer science, or a related field. However, practical experience in general software testing and a proven track record is most important.

You are a person with an eye for detail and also an eye for a great overview. You like to share ideas with your colleagues, enabling you as a team to come up with smart solutions.
